Availability, Pricing, and Specifications
Availability, pricing, and specifications of products offered by Domínguez Cycles are subject to change without notice.
I generally only list those items I have in stock, readily available or readily made from supplies on-hand, and bespoke items for which a down payment is required. Availability, prices, and specifications are as described on your finalized bill.
Orders
All products offered on the Domínguez Cycles web site are available for order via e-mail.
All orders will be fulfilled following receipt of payment, when stock is available.
Orders will not be accepted for out-of-stock items, except for Domínguez handmade products.
Orders for Domínguez handmade bicycles and frames are queued upon receipt of the $1,200 down payment.
Orders for in-stock Domínguez handmade stems, accessories, or other products will be fulfilled upon receipt of payment.
Orders for out-of-stock Domínguez handmade stems, accessories, or other products will be fulfilled within two days following final quality-control approval or receipt of payment, whichever is later.
All orders will receive an acknowledgement with a finalized bill describing each ordered product, quantity, stock status, lead time, scheduled or anticipated shipment date, item price, shipping cost, payment amount received (if any), and total amount due.
Payments
Unless other arrangements have been made in writing in advance, payment in full is due for all products sold on this web site, including shipping charges, no later than one day (for in-stock items) or one week (for Domínguez handmade items) prior to the scheduled or anticipated shipment date.
Partial payments may be made toward the purchase of any item, but the item will not ship until the unpaid balance is paid in full, including shipping charges.
Payment may be made using cash, cashier’s check, money order, personal check, or other agreed-upon method.
Payment must be received at the payment address indicated on the finalized bill, other agreed-upon location, or made in-person.
Cancellations
Custom orders may be cancelled in writing (e-mail or post) up to one week prior to the scheduled or anticipated shipment date, as indicated by date of sending (e-mail timestamp) or postmark. All other orders may be cancelled at any time up to one day prior to the scheduled or anticipated shipment date.
If payment in full is not received one day (for in-stock items) or one week (for Domínguez handmade items) prior to the scheduled or anticipated shipment date (at the latest), the order will be cancelled automatically and the appropriate refund policy will apply.
If payment in full on a Domínguez handmade bicycle or Domínguez handmade bicycle frame and fork has not been received by one week prior to the scheduled or anticipated shipment date and no other arrangements have been previously made in writing, the order will be cancelled automatically and the appropriate refund policy will apply.
Refunds
No refunds will be made to anyone other than the original purchaser without prior written approval from Domínguez Cycles.
Refunds may be credited towards the purchase of any Domínguez handmade or in-stock product, if so desired by the original purchaser.
Any amount paid beyond the down payment amount toward the outstanding balance of your custom, Domínguez bicycle or handmade bicycle frame and fork is refundable in full if your order is cancelled up to one week prior to scheduled or anticipated shipment. Because of the extensive planning, labor, and material costs involved in creating a custom, Domínguez bicycle or Domínguez handmade bicycle frame and fork, the $1,200 down payment is non-refundable, with the following exception:
If partial payment or payment in full has been received, but stock (also including Domínguez bicycles or handmade bicycle frames and forks) is unavailable for shipment at the time of scheduled or anticipated shipment, a refund of the partial payment or payment in full will be promptly made to the buyer, including any down payment (also including Domínguez bicycles or handmade bicycle frames and forks).
If payment in full on a Domínguez bicycle or handmade bicycle frame and fork has not been received by one week prior to the scheduled or anticipated shipment date and no other arrangements have been previously made in writing, the order will be cancelled automatically and a service charge of the lesser of $500 or the amount already paid (minus the down payment) will be charged and deducted from the amount already paid (minus the down payment); the remainder, if any, will be refunded to the original purchaser.
If payment in full on any other handmade product valued less than $1000 (as indicated on the finalized bill) has not been received by one week prior to the scheduled or anticipated shipment date and no other arrangements have been previously made in writing, the order will be cancelled automatically and a service charge of the lesser of $50 or the amount already paid will be charged and deducted from the amount already paid; the remainder, if any, will be refunded to the original purchaser.
All payments made toward the purchase of any other Domínguez handmade stem, accessory, or other product is refundable in full if your order is cancelled up to one week prior to the scheduled or anticipated shipment date.
No refunds are given for returns on any item not approved for return.
No refunds are given on any item outside of the warranty period.
Exchanges
No exchanges on: new, old stock items; used items; items not approved for return under warranty. No exchanges to anyone other than the original purchaser without prior written approval from Domínguez Cycles.
All exchanges must be approved in writing prior to return to Domínguez Cycles. For approved exchanges not under warranty, shipping charges from and to the original purchaser are the responsibility of the original purchaser.
Returns
No returns from anyone other than the original purchaser without prior written approval from Domínguez Cycles.
All returns must be approved in writing prior to return to Domínguez Cycles. For approved returns not under warranty, shipping charges from and to the original purchaser are the responsibility of the returner.
Returns under warranty must be approved in writing prior to return to Domínguez Cycles. For Domínguez products approved for return under warranty, shipping charges from and to the original purchaser are covered under warranty.
Agreements
If you wish to obtain a Domínguez handmade bicycle on lay-away, arrange to make periodic, no-interest payments while you enjoy riding your Domínguez handmade bicycle, or negotiate some form of barter for any product offered on the Domínguez Cycles web site, please feel free to ask: I am certain we can come to a satisfactory agreement.
If an arrangement (agreement) is mutually agreed-upon in writing between Domínguez Cycles and the original purchaser, such written arrangement supersedes all other previously applicable rules, policies, and procedures, if any.
